Latest URL News
I mentioned in a previous post that I failed to renew MikeLeuszler.com in a timely manner. It appears that an Asian company has taken advantage of that situation and has bought my URL and has place ads on it. I sincerely doubt that they'll gain any real financial windfall from that strategy. They, of course, want to sell it back to me, but I've decided that I'm not enough of a celebrity to warrant my name as a dot com. I can't justify that and plus, my last name seems to present some difficulty to the average american.
GoDaddy, who maintained my URL, offered to retrieve my URL for around 60 bucks plus the cost of the URL. Screw that. Let someone else set up a site with that URL. Good luck.
Anyway, I've changed my main URL to MiketheArtGuy.com. It's easier to remember. It's easier to spell. It has the word heart in it (miketHEARTguy.com) so maybe I'll get some accidental search engine action from people with cardiac problems and it has a keyword that I need in my URL, art.
Now I just have to change the links in my website. That's all.
